Middlesex-Somerset-Hunterdon, NJ (1888PressRelease) May 24, 2013 - In the post-Sandy environment, a flood of emergency regulations have been adopted, governing how re-building can proceed. How do these new regulations affect commercial buildings? What do they portend for areas of the state not affected by Sandy? Those questions and more will be answered by panel discussions slated for NAIOP New Jersey's Regulatory Update Seminar. The event is scheduled for June 4, 2013 at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick.

Panel 1: State Response to Rebuilding-how recently-adopted NJ DEP emergency rules related to coastal zone management and flood hazard area control act and what FEMA flood maps mean to owners and developers of commercial real estate properties; what NJ DCA is doing regarding guidance, expediting approvals and new protocols in affected regions; proposals before the NJ BPU to address utility reliability and improvement; how NJEDA is managing the disbursement of funding and incentives to businesses, tenants and residents. Speakers include:
