Through its open cycle, the Mom's Choice Awards presents the winners of its prestigious Honoring Excellence seal each month. "Parents, retailers, and educators shouldn't have to wait for a specific month of the year to find out what the best products and services are," continues Matheson. "On the flip side, creators and producers shouldn't have to wait for specific windows to have their products evaluated."

Each product or service submitted to the Mom's Choice Awards® is rigorously evaluated by 5 jurists and measured against a proprietary set of standards. "Our evaluation program is designed to reach and engage parents, children, educators, and caregivers alike," explains Matheson. "To us, they are more than consumers - they are experts in what is best for their family."

The Mom's Choice Awards continues to grow in stature and, as a result, are getting significantly more entries each month. "The percentage of products that have earned our award hasn't really changed," says Matheson. "We track that data very closely. We are not a pay-for-award program."
