Ms. Julie M. Carey is a Director and energy economist with NERA and an Adjunct Professor of Energy Economics at Georgetown University. She provides expert services within energy and transportation related commercial and regulatory disputes, including within international arbitrations. She has more than 20 years of experience addressing economic issues in oil and gas, power, coal, renewables, pipelines, and railroads sectors. Ms. Carey has substantial experience with economic damages (historical and future lost profit analyses) and conducts asset valuation analyses. She has assessed and measured economic damages and valuations in many dozens of cases involving claims of breach of contract, antitrust, class action and other types of disputes.
