Judge Marina Corodemus Elected President of Academy of Court-Appointed Masters

- Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) February 15, 2014 - Judge Marina Corodemus (Ret.), managing partner of the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) firm Corodemus & Corodemus, L.L.C., has been elected president of the Academy of Court-Appointed Masters (ACAM). Judge Corodemus accepted the position during the organization's tenth anniversary convention in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in January 2014.

The Academy of Court-Appointed Masters is an independent organization of experienced masters and judicial adjuncts who serve in federal and state courts. Its mission is to provide judges, lawyers, parties to litigation and other judicial adjuncts with useful information about masters. Judge Corodemus brings more than 10 years of experience on the bench as New Jersey's sole mass tort judge to her role as ACAM president.
Judge Corodemus is the director of alternative dispute resolution, or ADR, practice at Corodemus & Corodemus. Judge Corodemus is a member of the American Law Institute's Aggregate Litigation Advisor Committee, sat on the board and executive board of The Sedona ConferenceŽ and is an adjunct professor at Rutgers Law School in Newark, N.J.
She previously was honored with the Middlesex County Outstanding Lawyer Achievement Award and the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education's Outstanding Service Award. She has been named the Best Individual Mediator by The National Law Journal and her ADR firm has been ranked among the leading ADR providers in the nation.
