Orpak will manage fuel consumption of fleet operations with plans to extend the services to JSL's sites nationwide.

As Brazil's largest logistics company, the company's fleet related services include supply chain management, outsourcing, fleet and equipment management, as well as passenger and general cargo transportation, including fuel for major 3rd-party fleets, such as the Brazilian police force, city municipalities, transportation companies, car rental, and vehicle leasing.

The JSL-Orpak project has launched at five fuel stations, and two tanker trucks in Rio de Janeiro. The system consists of Orpak's ForeFuel RFID vehicle identification solution designed to better monitor and manage the amount of fuel consumed by JSL fleets, and the implementation of ForeHB, an end-to-end commercial fuel site management solution at each fueling site.

With Orpak's ForeFuel solution, JSL is able to manage fast refueling with no need for cash, card, coupon payment, or any other fueling authorization. ForeFuel provides tighter control and efficiently reduces losses as it ensures that fuel goes solely to the authorized vehicle whose account should be charged. Removing the nozzle and trying to fuel another vehicle immediately suspends RFID fueling activity.
