JPA Health Communications Announces Rebrand
Leading public relations agency updates name and opens office in London.
- (1888PressRelease) May 02, 2013 - WASHINGTON - To better reflect the full spectrum of services the agency offers, Jones Public Affairs has rebranded and adopted the name JPA Health Communications. The rebrand occurs in response to changing market dynamics, as the lines between public affairs, advocacy, traditional public relations and digital marketing continue to blur.
"It's not unusual for brands to evolve over time," said Carrie Jones, principal and managing director of JPA, which also has offices in Washington, D.C. and Boston. "We're excited to embrace a new name that clearly conveys our integrated communication offerings and exclusive focus in healthcare."
Since its founding in 2007, JPA has focused on providing health communications for non-profit, pharmaceutical, biotech, and government clients. The agency leverages a unique practice area known as influencer relations, which uses a targeted approach to reach the stakeholders who drive change and engage others within their field.
The agency's clients were notified of the change, effective on May 1.
Additionally, the firm opened an office in the United Kingdom, located in the popular district of Kensington in west and central London.
"While we've had a presence in the EU for several years, expanding our footprint outside the U.S. positions us to better serve existing and new clients," continued Jones. "Our London office will provide global and EU public relation services, advocacy engagement and market access strategies."
