Jonezy Releases Rap Album With Rhyme and Depth

'I try to talk about issues and have some depth to the lyrics while still trying to keep people interested,' says Jonezy. Indeed, lyricists are a dying breed but Jonezy will breathe life into lyrics again - this time on rap and hip-hop.
The St. Louis, Illinois resident is the real deal. While most rappers are serious about how tough they look to an audience, Jonezy does the opposite. 'I try to set myself apart based on content, not image'. In his debut album 'Mr. Fillintheblank', Jonezy presents a compilation of tracks that are both gritty and heartfelt. It's not surprising that Jonezy turned out that way, since he loves Motown, pop, classic rock, grunge, and hip-hop. Now imagine that laid down to music: an array of beats, an ever-changing rhyme-scheme and tempo, without losing socially-conscious lyrics. Jonezy's not your typical rapper, all right.
Jonezy has performed as opening act for groups, Gift of Gab and Blackalicious, but with his debut album 'Mr. Fillintheblank', he is now the main attraction.
