(1888PressRelease) November 02, 2011 - Enjoy the festivities this holiday season at the award-winning Santa Experience, an exciting, interactive visit with Santa at Sherway Gardens (Hwy 427 & the QEW) weekdays and Saturdays from Monday, November 14 until Friday, December 23. To register, visit the Holiday Booth any time after November 1st, near the entrance to Sherway Square to secure a spot. Kids get to join Santa for an entertaining and interactive play session that features singalongs, dancing and story reading. Children are invited to share their wishes with Santa and pose for an informal picture taken by mom or dad at the end of each 30 minute session. Parents are encouraged to join in the fun.

With these scheduled sessions and pre-registration, children do not have to wait in long line-ups to visit with Santa. Each child must be registered, newborns included and the number of participants for each session is limited to a maximum of 40 children. Groups of up to 15 children can be accommodated in November only. Admission is limited to children age 10 and under. Please be at Sherway Square 15 minutes before your scheduled session time to check in. Late arrivals cannot be admitted.

Tickets are $5 per child (limit of 6 tickets per family). Tickets are not required for adults accompanying children. 100% of the $5 per child ticket price goes to Sleeping Children Around the World - a locally based charity that provides bed kits for needy children in developing countries. Each bedkit consists of a mat or mattress, pillow, sheet, blanket, mosquito net (if applicable), clothes outfit, towel and school supplies. Although all sessions are listed below, please be aware that time slots fill up quickly as the season progresses and registration is usually closed by the end of November due to the popularity of the Sherway Santa Experience. The Santa Registration Staff will be happy to advise you as to which spaces are still available. The Santa Experience sessions start at the following times:

Monday Nov. 14 - Saturday Nov. 19: 10am / Noon / 2:30pm / 4:30pm
Monday Nov. 21 - Friday Nov. 25: 10am / Noon / 2:30pm / 4:30pm / 6:30pm
Saturday Nov. 26: 10am / Noon / 2:30pm / 4:30pm
Monday Nov. 28 - Friday Dec. 23: 10am / Noon / 2:30pm / 4:30pm / 6:30pm

Please Note: There are no Santa Experience Sessions on Sundays & there is no 10am session on Wednesday, Dec. 21st.

WIN A VISIT FROM SANTA WITH TOYS FOR SANTA!

Sherway Gardens encourages every Santa Experience visitor to bring a new, unwrapped toy to place in the special Toy Box in Sherway Square. For each new, unwrapped toy donation made during the Santa Experience sessions before December 18, you will receive a ballot for a chance to win a special home visit from Santa on December 21. The draw will be on December 19. All toys will be donated to Toy Mountain for distribution by The Salvation Army to needy children.
