We booked and hosted our first wedding, garnered 94 Points and a Best of California award for our Cabernet Franc, successfully wrapped up our Summer Concert Series, our wines are now featured on Wine Lists across the country and Monte De Oro Winery was recently featured in a TV ad for the State of California. All wonderful developments that show how Monte De Oro's coming of age.
Yet another milestone associated with Monte De Oro is that of our Principal Owner/Managing Partner Ken Zignorski turning 50 years old on Thursday. Coming of age indeed. Mr. Zignorski has made Monte De Oro his passion and the Winery certainly would not be where it is today without his direction and the tireless efforts and numerous hours that he puts into it.
