We are delighted to announce that Ira N. Helfgot has united with Johnson Legal Group, LLC as Of Counsel.

Helfgot), Mr. Helfgot also assumed an Of Counsel role with Johnson Legal Group, LLC on March 21, 2014. The firm is pleased to be able to offer our clients the benefit of Mr. Helfgot's knowledge and experience.
Mr. Helfgot concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, business collections, including collections for law firms, and professional liability law. He has published extensively on debtor-creditor issues and professional liability law topics for among others, IICLE, the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, and the Illinois Creditors Bar Association and has lectured on debtor-creditor issues for the Illinois Creditors Bar Association and the Illinois Credit Union League.
Mr. Helfgot is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, formerly serving on its Committee on Judicial Evaluations and as a CLE Coordinator for the Commercial Banking, Collections & Bankruptcy Section Council, the Decalogue Society of Lawyers, where he is currently serving as a member of the CLE Committee, and the Illinois Creditors Bar Association, formerly serving as president and as a member of the Board of Directors.
He is also currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Lawyers' Assistance Program, pursuant to an appointment by the Illinois Supreme Court and has been elected as treasurer of the Board of Directors.
