John Gosslee to Host Triangle Writers Publishing Talk 9/17
Editor of the Fjords Literary and Arts Review John Gosslee will conduct a complimentary publishing talk for writers and read from his new book of poems, 12 (Gival Press), on Saturday, September 17th in Raleigh.

Writers in the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill areas will enjoy free coffee and pastries while they learn a behind-the-scenes perspective from Gosslee as he discusses what writers don't know about literary journals. As editor of the Fjords Arts & Literary Review, which is a twice-yearly national literary magazine, Gosslee selects poetry, short fiction, film reviews and fine art. The Fjords Review is the first literary publication of its kind to release a complete audio addition.
Writing and Editing Advice in Raleigh
"With a musician's heart, an eye for detail, and stunning craftsmanship, Gosslee explores the intricacies of the twelve signs-from Aries to Pisces-while dazzling the reader with his descriptive powers," said Virginia's Poet Laureate, Carolyn Kreiter-Foronda, about Gosslee's book. Released this fall, Gosslee's first book of poetry 12 is published in English, French and Spanish. As part of his Raleigh visit, Gosslee will discuss the balance involved with maintaining integrity when publishing different translations.
Coffee and Writers
Triangle Writers, a group of novelists, memoirists and fiction writers in the greater Raleigh area, welcomes Gosslee at the Whole Foods Lifestyle Center (Community Events Room) at 3540 Wade Avenue in Raleigh on Saturday, September 17th from 11AMPM-1PM. Writers are encouraged to bring questions about the publishing process. Free coffee and pastries provided by Triangle Writers. The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited.
