Expected to debut on April 20th, the fully redesigned ninth-generation 2012 Civic lineup offers an extensive variety of engine choices designed to better meet the diverse needs of each and every customer.

Included in the fully redesigned Civic lineup are the sedan and coupe with conventional gasoline models, a new "HF" high fuel economy version, two sporty "Si" performance versions, a new and improved Civic hybrid and a natural gas alternative-fuel variant. The all-new Civic HF and the Civic Hybrid are both estimated to deliver more than 40 mpg on the highway.
"As a customer, if fuel economy happens to be at the top of your list, there are two great options to choose from," added Ingram. "Depending on your personal preference and budget, there is the 41 highway mpg Civic HF, or the combined 45 mpg rating of the all-new Civic Hybrid. You really can't go wrong."
In addition to improved fuel economy across the board, the new Civic lineup also delivers better performance, particularly with the Civic Si. The Civic Si sedan and coupe models are equipped with a larger, more powerful 2.4-liter engine as well as a new 6-speed manual transmission. Even with the larger, more powerful engine, the Civic Si offers more miles per gallon than the current model.
As far as appearance goes, the 2012 Civic manages to evolve the current model's shape and feel by exuding more defined character and an edgier attitude. The interior packaging has also been redesigned. Though still in the compact car division, customers can expect the Civic to offer a roomier inside.
