Event Synopsis:
In December 2018, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released its final rule overhauling the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP). With the aim to shift the health care system from fee-for-service to value-based care, the new CMS rule also addresses many of healthcare's cost, quality and population health challenges. Further changes were made on MSSP with the CMS’ publication of final rules for Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) and Quality Payment Program (QPP). These include the revisions on quality measure set and the voluntary extension granted to certain Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs).
With the shifting MSSP landscape in the backdrop, an up-to-date and detail-oriented strategy is essential to ensure ACOs’ compliance with the regulations.
Listen as a panel of distinguished professionals organized by The Knowledge Group provide the audience with the most important aspects of the recent changes and developments surrounding MSSP. Speakers, among other things, will present best compliance practices and practical tips to avoid potential risks and pitfalls in light of the recent updates.
Key issues that will be covered in this course are:
- MSSP Program Changes
- MSSP and the new QPP Rule
- Managing Opportunities and Risk Issues
- Recent Compliance Trends, Developments and Updates
- Best Compliance Practices
