Jo Pickles believes, If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you’ve always got.” So unless you are happy for your business to be in the same place in a few years’ time – do something about it now.
(1888PressRelease) June 13, 2008 - Master Licensee Tom Malone has named Jo Pickles as an ActionCOACH in England. Pickles’ office will be located in Bristol, and she will be operating throughout the South Western parts of England. Pickles first came across ActionCOACH four years ago when she was looking for a new business venture.
“While I loved the idea of business coaching, I knew it was not the right time for me to take this up. A few months ago, a friend of mine who has hired an ActionCOACH Business Coach told me how well her business was doing because of this type of coaching,” she said. This rekindled Pickles’ interest and she started researching the company again.
“I am passionate about helping people achieve their goals and after researching ActionCOACH and studying their 14 points of culture as well as speaking to numerous coaches about their successes and experiences, I knew without a shadow of a doubt that it was the right time for me to get involved,” she said. Pickles has always been a high achiever.
She started her working life as a Commis Chef at 18, and worked her way up to become Head Chef of Ashton Court Mansion- a prestigious conference and banqueting centre in Bristol at age 21. Ten years later, she had a major change of career and started a part-time multi-level marketing business with Kleeneze Europe Ltd.
“Within 18 months, I had built a large business and was coaching a team of hundreds of distributors. I replaced my full-time income, quit my day job and went on to become a Bronze Senior Executive within the company and one of the top 5% income earners in the UK,” she said. Pickles then launched her sales company – helping various small-to-medium sized businesses find and develop new business. Most recently she helped launch a new bathroom brand into the UK market.
Working for 14-16 hours a day and driving 1000 miles a week was taking a toll on her life and Pickles decided she needed to strike a balance. “My first impression of ActionCOACH was that it was an extremely professional, forward thinking and innovative company. I was also impressed by the size of the organization, the level of support given to coaches, the culture and most importantly - the results that their clients were experiencing,” Pickles said.
