(1888PressRelease) December 21, 2010 - Shanghai, China - The Chinese economy hotel chain was recently awarded the 2010 China Excellent Green Hotel award, Given the chain's plan to double their size within 3-5 years, the move is seen as being fantastic for the environment.
Jinjiang Inns recently won the 2010 China Excellent Green Hotel, in recognition of the chain's accreditations with Green Hotel certifiers and continuing guest efforts.
Jinjiang Inns won seven awards at the recent National Working Committee and Green Hotels Association Congress, becoming the most awarded China budget hotel chain in the Association.
The award recognizes Jinjiang Inn's efforts in:
- Utilising environmentally friendly furnishings and materials in rooms
- Saving resources
- Reducing emissions
- Minimizing waste
Jinjiang Inns have always been among the frontrunners of the green movement in Chinese budget hotels and standard/luxury hotels. Tracey Guo of Jinjiang Inns said that "This achievement is inseparable from over ten years of sustained effort, and especially linked to our last four or so years since we launched our Green Hotel initiatives".
