ABOUT PAMELA HUIZENGA: Artist/Jewelry Designer/Lapidary, Pamela Huizenga, was trained as a certified lapidary at the age of 16. Her teacher was the world famous Jerry Call in North Carolina who cuts stones for the celebs, including Elizabeth Taylor. Jerry has been a consultant to Saks Fifth Avenue, Tiffany & Company, and Cartier just to name a few. At the age of 19, Pamela started her first jewelry company and has been involved with all facets of the industry as buyer, seller, retailer, designer and consultant. Now, in her early 40's, she has finally found her way back to her passion; stone cutting and designing her own line. All of her designs are created right in her own studio in Palm City, Florida. Pam works directly with the stones she uses in her work focusing on the shape and color of each stone, allowing it to guide her hands and tell her how it wants to evolve making each piece truly unique. No two pieces are alike.
