Jericho City of Praise Church Presents the Old School vs. New School Basketball Game and Movie Night
City of Praise prepares for old school and new school fun.
- Washington, DC-MD-VA-WV (1888PressRelease) September 06, 2011 - There is a lot of hype over which era of basketball is better, Old school versus New school. Jericho City of Praise Church will finally settle the debate. On Friday, September 9, top recruits from the Washington, D.C. Metro area will face retired street legends to finally decide who the champs really are.
This is a great event for the entire family. In addition to enjoying an exciting (and possibly hilarious) basketball game, a drive in movie will be played in the parking lot after the game.
The event will run from
7:00pm to 11:00pm.
Admission is $10 for the game and movie. Admission is $7 if you only want to attend one of the events. All Proceeds go to the City of Praise Scholarship Fund.
"At Jericho City of Praise we are singularly focused on worshiping God and winning hearts to Jesus Christ," said Pastor Joel R. Peebles, "Hosting events like Old School vs. New School is just a fun and entertaining way to fellowship while praising the Lord."
