Jenuwine Cigar's Welcomes the Cigar Dave Show Back to Detroit

They've been around for over 60 years and during a time that many Michigan based businesses have struggled to survive, Jenuwine Cigar Factory Outlets (and lounges) continue to grow and thrive. Their Sterling Heights location boasts the largest humidor in the United States and a loyal following. In July, the family has plans to treat that following and welcome new converts to a live broadcast event by cigar and radio personality Cigar Dave aka "The General".

"The General" will be on location throughout the event, marking his return to Detroit area airwaves on AM 1270. Jenuwine's is the program's sponsor.

Local up and coming singer Jennifer Westwood is looking forward to her performance at the event with her Waycross Georgia Farmboys as well. "I was so excited to be asked to join onto this event" says Westwood. "I love the relaxed and refined atmosphere at Jenuwine's. It's something very unique in Detroit. And I know who the General is. My group's mix of Gypsy Jazz and Bluegrass-esque styling is perfect for the event and my band includes true world class talent," referring to her local pedigreed guitar duo, Jackson Smith and Dylan Dunbar. Smith has toured with Elton John, Leon Russell, and Elvis Costello. Dunbar has played guitar with the Handy (Blues) award winning blues group Chef Chris and the Rumpshakers.
