Jenne Signs Distribution Agreement with AMX, Enabling Resellers to Complement and Extend their Unified Communications Offerings
AMX's configurable Audio/Visual control solutions provide consolidated control of all your meeting room technology and provide comprehensive video switching and scaling, audio amplification with microphone inputs, and physical control for lighting, screens and blinds.
- (1888PressRelease) March 06, 2013 - Jenne, Inc., a leading value-added distributor of IP telephony, audio and video conferencing, unified communications, data networking and IT security products, announced today that it has signed a distribution agreement with AMX, the leader in software-configurable meeting room control solutions that eliminate the need for traditional, complex and expensive programming. Under the terms of the agreement, Jenne will distribute AMX's complete line of Enova DVX meeting room appliances, industry leading Modero X-Series touch panels, control pads, lighting and client access solutions for VTC integration.
AMX's new line of configurable meeting room control appliances provides Jenne's VTC/Unified Collaboration Solutions Resellers the opportunity to extend their capabilities to include comprehensive meeting room integration at a price point that makes it deployable in every meeting space. The solution includes AMX's RPM (Rapid Project Maker) cloud-based software to configure a meeting room in less than an hour vs. traditional programming which can take weeks to design and implement.
"AMX's appliance-based configurable meeting room control solutions are a perfect complement to our unified communications portfolio," commented Vince Piccolomini, vice president of business development, Jenne Inc. "The company's powerful hardware and software are ideal either as an add on solution to an existing unified communications system or in a new deployment. AMX's Enova will enable our customers to deliver a complete end-to-end solution with full deployments and integration of all A/V and collaboration tools."
AMX's solution is appliance-based and software-enabled which can be deployed to complement any major vendor's unified communications products - including Avaya and LifeSize. Jenne will be supporting the AMX solution with a product manager who will serve as a liaison between its technical services and sales associates and AMX. Additionally, Jenne will work with its resellers to introduce them to and train them on the AMX Enova platform so they can identify opportunities and take the solution to their customers.
"Our new relationship with Jenne helps us bring a "game changing" technology to a much broader audience in the channel," said Jay Jenkins, Manager of Distribution at AMX. "End Users frequently complain about requiring multiple resellers to integrate these technologies, and the lack of a single control point for these systems. With Jenne, we can offer VARs an integrated and unified platform that provides exceptional value as a one-stop-shop for their customers."
With AMX, customers can rely on their Unified Collaborations reseller to implement their VTC strategy and integrate all their meeting room technology, saving them valuable time and budget. Now they can quickly start a meeting, leverage multiple technology resources to help deliver the message and move on with their day because of the simplicity of an easy to use touch panel interface eliminating the need for outside support or training.
