Jeffery M. Leving Saves Little Girl’s Life After Mother’s Boyfriend Gave Girl a Black Eye, Severe Swelling, and Bruising.
- Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) October 30, 2018 - Children who grow up fatherless have a very high risk of being physically and emotionally abused. The statistics are very alarming – as Leving said in his book, Fathers’ Rights (Basic Books): “The absence of a biological father increases by 900 percent a daughter’s vulnerability to rape and sexual abuse.” Leving is called upon in many such cases to right this terrible wrong – to stop the abuse – and to reunite fathers with their children.
A devoted father who is very active in his little girl’s life recently became aware that the mom and the little girl were living with a man who was reportedly very violent. When dad went to the mom’s house to get his daughter, the boyfriend reportedly attacked him with a box cutter, slashing him behind his ear and stabbing him in the back.
After the reported attack, the father panicked about the safety of his little girl, when he saw she had a black eye with severe swelling and bruising around her eye and face. She told dad that her mother’s boyfriend hit her. The father knew he had to act.
After hearing the dad’s horrific account of what the boyfriend reportedly did to his little girl, the Leving Legal Team jumped into action and immediately went to Court. In an unusual and aggressive move, the Leving Legal Team sought an Order of Protection against the mom’s boyfriend, seeking legal protection for the little girl and her dad. After a hard-fought Court trial, the Judge agreed with the dad and ordered the mom’s boyfriend to have no contact with the little girl.
This dad never gave up hope and his daughter is now safe.
