Jazz Is Alive And Kicking In Hertfordshire
Musicians have been busy performing at some of the areas prestige events.. This featured Jazz musicians playing at Hanbury Manor, Brocket Hall, Hatfield House and many more. The Jazz musicians also have many residences at these venues for other occasions. This was all part of NSN Productions Limited who has been round for over 5 years, providing live music for all events and occasions.
- (1888PressRelease) July 01, 2010 - Jazz was alive and kicking at premier venues in Hertfordshire for Father's Day on the 20th of June. 8 jazz players who regularly play at top jazz venues, including Ronnie Scott's and Pizza in the Park and on media outlets like BBC 2 and channel 4, played at events across east Hertfordshire, helping to prove that jazz is still alive and well in the Home counties.
At Hanbury Manor (just outside Ware), guests were treated to a set by 3 of NSN productions leading artists; Rob (bass), Mark (keys) and Jasper (percussion). NSN productions provides musicians for a weekly residency at Hanbury Manor; but the day felt much more like a Father's day celebration. The 3 artists' act was enthusiastically received, with jazz versions of "Happy Birthday" being performed five times for celebrations! The trio are performing together again at Hanbury on the 18th of July.
The ornate Brocket Hall golf club (Welwyn Garden City) also got into the spirit of the occasion by playing host to a fathers day celebration for its members and their families. The music was provided by Amy (saxophone) and Neil (guitar) who performed outside, overlooking the lake.
To top off a special day for NSN productions another trio were ask to perform for the famous Rose Weekend, held at Hatfield House. The Trio included Emma (vocals), Ian (bass) and Mark (Keys) and performed songs such as Moondance. The performance entranced and captivated the audience, who were even treated to a special 45 minute long set from the Romantic Tenor AKA Neil Simon.
The Music for all three events was organized and arranged by NSN productions, a leading company in providing live music for events. They provide live music for corporate and private events including weddings, parties, drinks receptions, after dinner entertainment and celebrations. As well as excellent jazz musicians who are able to play as soloists; duos; trios and larger groups, NSN have a wide variety of musicians: from string quartets and cover bands to singing waiters; Gospel Singers; flamenco musicians and steel bands.
