Jay's Moving and Storage 21st Annual Telemiracle Golf Classic
Jay's 21st Annual Golf Classic raised almost $116,000.00 in support of Kinsmen Telemiracle in 2012
- (1888PressRelease) August 08, 2012 - Jay's Moving and Storage 21st Annual Golf Classic was recently held at Harbor Golf Club in Elbow Saskatchewan. Jay's has organized this tournament for more than two decades in support of Kinsmen Telemiracle. Thanks to everybody involved we have raised almost $116,000.00 this year! This means that our grand total has surpassed $875,000.00 raised for Telemiracle since the tournament's inception in 1991.
Kinsmen Telemiracle uses these funds to provide needed equipment and access to medical assistance to people who might not otherwise be able to get the help that they need to improve their quality of life and their independence. The types of equipment that Jay's, through Kinsmen Telemiracle, provides may include communication aids, specialized computers, specialized aids, electric scooters, ultralight wheelchairs and wheelchair lifts for vehicles. Funds may also be used to help with provincial and interprovincial travel expenses when people are receiving medical treatment, assessments and organ transplants.
The Jay's Annual Golf Classic wouldn't happen without the support of our many generous sponsors, those who donate prizes, a large contingent of hardworking volunteers and of course all those who participate in the tourney, and we would like to extend our warmest thanks to everyone involved.
