Jax Innovation Awards To Reward Excellence In The Java Ecosystem
Informing all those in the Java community/ecosystem about JAX Innovation awards, and inviting them to make nominations. JAX Innovation awards are held at JAXConf in San Francisco 9-12th July 2012.
- San Francisco, CA (1888PressRelease) March 29, 2012 - We are proud to announce that nominations are now open for the JAX Innovation Awards 2012; celebrating and rewarding outstanding innovation in today's Java Ecosystem.
The categories are:
1. Most Innovative Java Technology
2. Most Innovative Java Company
3. Top Java Ambassador
The JAX Innovation Awards utilizes a 3-stage nomination, shortlist and judging process. Nominations are collected from across the Java ecosystem, with companies and individuals free to nominate the people, technologies and companies they feel most deserve recognition for their value to the world of Java.
Nominations can be made at http://jax-awards.com/submissions.php, closing on May 7th, 2012.
Following the nominations stage, a panel of industry experts will shortlist 5 outstanding finalists per category.
The panel will also select a winner of the Special Jury Award category. This one of a kind award will be given to one of the submitted nominees, in acknowledgment of their unique contribution and positive impact on the Java ecosystem.
Shortlisted finalists will be announced on May 28th, 2012, at which point final voting begins online. Worldwide Java communities, organisations, companies and individuals will be invited to cast their votes to determine the winners.
JAX Innovation awards are brought to you by the organisers of the worldwide JAX conference series, Software and Support Media. Speaking on the importance of a reward programme, Software & Supports Chief Content Officer, Sebastian Meyen, comments:

Winners will be announced on July 9th 2012; in an awards ceremony at JAXconf (http://jaxconf.com/) in San Francisco, CA.
The winner in each category will receive recognition as best-in-class as determined by their industry peers and the Java community, PLUS a cash prize of $2,500 for each winner.
