Jan. 8: Miles Berger to Chair HASC's 25th Annual Benefit Concert

  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) December 28, 2011 - The Hebrew Academy for Special Children (HASC) will celebrate its 25th annual benefit concert, scheduled for January 8, 2012. The event is slated for Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall in New York City.

    The concert, a Suki & Ding Production, will begin at 7:30 p.m. Hosted by Nachum Segal, it will feature the music of the Neginah Orchestra directed by Yisroel Lamm, as well as individual performances by such artists as Avraham Fried, Ohad, Baruch Levine, Yehuda Green, Journeys, 8th Day, the Maccabeats, Yoel Sharabi, Gershon Veroba, and many more.

    "Since 1963, HASC has provided high-quality education and services for children with special needs," said concert chairman Miles Berger, a Livingston, N.J. resident and chairman of The Berger Organization, a privately owned, diversified real estate company based in Newark, N.J. "For the past 25 years, this concert has been a wonderful holiday event to benefit the academy's worthwhile programs, and I am deeply honored to serve as the event's chairman."
