Jamie has since acted in nine feature films, eight short films, three television shows, two internet web series, performed as the lead in two music videos and has been featured in a number of commercials.

In the interview, Jamie said that she belongs to a family of nine as she has four sisters and four brothers. She said that her father passed away when she was four months old that left her mother to raise her alone.
Jamie said that she started acting in her hometown Kankakee, Illinois in community theatre at about age 9.
Talking about her upcoming film 365 Days, Jamie said that it is a dark, explosive and gritty drama about a family of four and the journey they take to overcome past transgressions.
