About James Sutton
James R. Sutton MA, Public Policy Analysis, has three decades of worldwide experience in law enforcement, public safety, and national security matters. He served as a Special Agent of the FBI and a Research Intelligence Analyst for the U.S. Department of Justice (Immigration and Naturalization Service – prior to and after September 11, 2001). He deployed to Iraq (2005) and Afghanistan (2011) in support of U.S. Armed Forces. From 2006 to 2009 he was the Director of the Highway Information Sharing and Analyses Center (Highway-ISAC) at the TSOC (Transportation Security Operations Center in Herndon, VA.) His current research is focused on transnational organized crime, official corruption, human trafficking, disappearances’ and internally displaced populations.
Mr. Sutton is currently the founder and managing director of the North American Intelligence Exchange, a company that continuously monitors, documents cross-border criminal trends, with a focus on violence against women.
