James N. Sweeney Named President & CTO of V3 Systems
Well-experienced in the field as former CTO of GTSI Corporation, James N. Sweeney takes on his new role to lead V3 Systems forward towards growth and development.
- (1888PressRelease) July 18, 2013 - Salt Lake City, Utah--- James Sweeney has assumed the role of President and Chief Technology Officer of V3 Systems. In his new position, Sweeney will guide the development of V3 Systems as it emerges from its startup phase and evolves into a successful and fully operational company.
In naming Sweeney as President & CTO of the company, Eric Lindstrom, CEO, commented, "I believe that under Jim's leadership, V3 Systems will be in good hands moving forward. Jim has an impressive record of accomplishments with the necessary managerial and technical skills to guide our technical development and position the company for growth."
Prior to joining V3 Systems, Sweeney had served as Chief Technology Officer for GTSI Corporation, Herndon, Va. In that role, he interfaced with various federal, state, and local agencies to develop technical solutions for server, desktop, and application virtualization, as well as storage virtualization and consolidation. He also served as GTSI's lead architect for Cloud computing in the public sector.
Sweeney is also the author of Get Your Head in the Cloud: Unraveling the Mystery for Public Sector, which provides case studies of using cloud technology in the public sector.
