Jamaican Marketing Firm Releases Community Website about Mandeville,Jamaica
Mandeville, Jamaica based internet publishers Oceanroc Web Publishing recently launched a community website about the historic town of Mandeville.
- (1888PressRelease) May 11, 2012 - The town will be celebrating its 196 anniversary this year and the website is the only one that features content exclusively about Mandeville. The website can be seen at http://WWW.Updeh.com.
"Updeh.com is the realization of a dream I have had long ago. I realized that over the years, most of the information about Mandeville was just a few pages or a page on a website.
Mandeville deserves its own website where anyone can go and find valuable information about our history, population and more", says Nicholas Dixon the man behind the website.
Mandeville is the highest parish capital in Jamaica and sits at an elevation of over 2,000 feet which provides the town with a salubrious climate and gets cold especially in winter which explains the fireplacea and chimneys that can be seen on numerous residences.
The town sits in the heart of Jamaica's bauxite industry which has contributed significantly to the economic growth of the town since the 1960's.
