Jaime Partners Announces New Collaboration With Renowned Chef Javier Plascencia
With a new restaurant opening in Little Italy in 2015, Chef Plascencia brings in San Diego's leading project management to take on the project.
- San Diego, CA (1888PressRelease) August 19, 2014 - Jaime Partners, the San Diego-based leading service provider for program, project and construction management services, is announcing its newest project with celebrated Baja Chef Javier Plascencia. The new 4,800-square-foot restaurant will be located at the Ariel Suites, a new high-rise tower on the corner of Kettner Blvd and Beech Street in San Diego's Little Italy.
Jaime Partners is working with a few different teams for this project. Hollywood design firm Bells and Whistles have signed on for the project, and have worked with Jaime Partners in the past. Mexiterranean Hospitality, LLC owns the restaurant, and this will be first project that Jaime Partners will be completing for them. Jaime Partners will be providing Owners Representation with project and construction management services from design inception all the way to construction close out. Additionally, Jaime Partners will coordinate and supervise design and furniture suppliers, as well as the community of Little Italy for all type of required entitlements.

Located at 1490 Kettner Street, the restaurant will be part of the upcoming Ariel Suites. The menu will feature modern Mexican cuisine and include small plates, entrees and shareable platters. Set to open in spring 2015, the project broke ground in July 2014 and will continue to be in construction until March of 2015. The space will feature two levels for dining; downstairs for a more casual feel and upstairs for a more upscale dinner service. An open kitchen, bar and outside patio are planned for both levels.
