Jack Sweeney Signs Management Agreement With Talent Management Company, Harris Management
Actor Making Moves In Los Angeles Even After Short Time In City.
- (1888PressRelease) July 17, 2013 - Jack Sweeney, a Hollywood transplant from Davenport, Iowa, is gearing up to make his mark in the film and television industries. Sweeney has signed a management agreement with Harris Management, and is already hard at work building his team of industry connections and supporters to ensure his success as one of the hottest young comedic actors in town.
Don't be fooled by Sweeney's youth. Sweeney has been acting professionally for a number of years. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, he had been acting professionally in Chicago, a city known to birth some of the best comedic actors and performers in the entertainment business. His on-stage credits include performances with Noble Fool Theatricals, Next Theatre, About Face Theatre, Chicago Kids Company and several others. In 2012, Sweeney was nominated for an Equity Alliance "Wilde" Award - for his work as Sam in the Midwest premiere of "The Extraordinary Ordinary."
Shortly thereafter, Sweeney packed his car and drove out West. With aspirations of acting in television and film, he heeded the call to Hollywood, and pretty soon, film and TV audiences will be glad he did.
"As soon as I saw Jack act I knew this guy was destined for TV or film stardom," said Earnest Harris, who will be managing Sweeney's career. "I knew immediately I wanted to work with him. He has that presence and that like-ability that will get him far in this town."
You can catch Sweeney with his improv team, Mandatory Friend Time, regularly performing at iO West and the Neon Venus, among other improv theaters around town.
