J2 Medical, LP releases their second new product in six months-the Gymie Titan x-ray panel holder.

J2‟s newest brain child is the Gymie Titan. "Gymie Titan is the big brother of the Gymie Pod (J2‟s portable x-ray cassette holder released in the Fall of 2012) and is the replacement for every cumbersome cassette holder on the market," stated Jarrid Henderson, CEO. "The focus was to design with the Technologist in mind while enhancing every feature and so far the feedback has been tremendous."
Gymie Titan features locking wheels, a hand crank for precise height adjustment, 360 degree pan/tilt, and a sturdier tri-pod base. "We took immediate feedback from our customers to enhance the features that they already loved about the Gymie Pod. These upgrades will assist the Radiology Technologists to become more efficient and reduce the number of image retakes and radiation exposure, "stated Adam Smith, VP of Sales & Marketing.
Gymie Titan‟s head unit has ratcheting handles that are capable of accommodating analog cassettes, Computed Radiography (CR) cassettes, and Digital Radiography (DR) panels. "The head unit is Tech proof" stated Smith, adding, "We went above and beyond with the torture testing and it‟s all on the „Break Test‟ videos." Made of bullet-proof polycarbonate and high quality alloys, the Titan is tough yet lightweight coming in at only 17 lbs. which allows all Techs the ability to easily adjust and maneuver the unit.
