ITON inaugurates Comtech Global
ITON's business division, Comtech Global, was inaugurated on 25th June 2011.
- (1888PressRelease) July 28, 2011 - Comtech Global, a Microsoft service provider division formed by ITON, was inaugurated in the Sultanate at a ceremony held in Grand Hyatt on Saturday June 25th.
Siva Prasad, Chief Executive Officer of ITON, said that the inauguration was significant to assist businesses to define the new model of how they should look at investments in Information Technology.
"ITON has very good market penetration in the Sultanate within the past 12 years of its operations, especially in both government and private sectors," he said.
Prasad said: "We were able to successfully launch a 30-day risk free pilot programme for SharePoint and signed up a few customers prior to the event."
"The SharePoint 2010 Pilot programme has been made available to customers after a schedule of training set by the team to demonstrate the business benefits of the product," Prasad said. He said that the Comtech Global Team has experts on Microsoft Technologies and have been providing Onsite Services under the ITON flag for Active Directory, Hyper-V, Exchange Migrations, as well as SharePoint Enterprise Deployments and Customization.
