The 2011 fundraiser gala will be held Saturday, October 1st from 7p.m. - 1a.m. at the Raleigh's Capital City Club and will feature live music performed by tHE.DESIGN and The Moonlighters Orchestra, a silent auction, door prizes, and the raffle for $10,000. Guests can enjoy five open bars, a wide selection of hors d'oeuvres and a late night breakfast.
This year for door prizes, Fink's Jewelers is donating a Ritani Bella Vita pendant necklace featuring a round cut diamond center stone that is surrounded by pavé diamonds and matching earrings, for a combined 1.2 carats.
The Big Bad Ball benefits Hospice of Wake County's Benevolent Care Program and Horizons Grief Center. This annual event is one of the leading fundraisers for Hospice of Wake County. In 2010, more than 300 guests attended the annual event, which raised nearly $100,000. This level of fund-raising translates into 630 days of Hospice care. Hospice of Wake County extends assistance beyond Wake by serving Durham, Johnston, Harnett and Franklin County.
