The Pampered Pet Expo opens to the public August 7- 9th at the Orlando/Orange Convention Center, Orlando Florida with a strong focus on educating pet owners with the help of Center for Animal Therapies, Inc.
Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) August 02, 2009 - The Expo, now in its second year, focuses on educating pet owners through fun classes and informative presentations, while offering a large pet vendor shopping area with products and services including food, clothing, spa products, beds, accessories, safety equipment, housing, toys and health care. The variety of free and low-cost seminar choices includes: Red Cross Pet First Aid & CPR, Canine Behavior, DOGA (yoga with your dog), Animal Communication, How to Choose the Right Pet, Wildlife and Your Pets and many more. Also spotlighted at the Expo is the Petfinder Adoption Center where Florida’s top local pet rescue organizations will be available to answer questions and showcase their adoptables in need of forever homes. Entertainment, animal celebs and a pet fashion are added fun attractions.
The Pampered Pet Expo is owned and produced by entrepreneurial sisters and animal lovers Joyce Perhac of ProShow Inc. and Janice Blasko of The Abbey Group. ProShow is a meeting and event-planning company owned by Perhac and based in Pittsburgh, Pa. The Abbey Group is an Orlando-based website development company owned by Blasko. Blasko also serves as President of a Central Florida animal rescue and education organization.
Center for Animal Therapies Inc./ C.A.T. Inc., is a program owned and operated by Jo Maldonado of JM Public Relations Inc., and provides education to the public by offering classes on animal topics. The program premiered in March, 2009, and continues in September with a strong curriculum of topics such on canine behavior; pet CPR/First Aid; wildlife and your pets; Animal Reiki; animal communication and a FREE animal rescue class for volunteers and staff of animal shelters and rescues, to name a few.
The Pampered Pet Expo is being held in the West Building, Hall D of the Orlando/Orange County Convention Center. Expo hours are from 4pm to 9pm on Friday, 10am to 7pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday. Daily adult admission is $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Children 10 and under are free.
