IT Authorities, an international cloud computing and managed IT services provider, has been honored as one of Chief Executive magazine's 2012 "Best Private Companies for Leaders."
- Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) March 27, 2012 - IT Authorities has been honored as one of Chief Executive magazine's 2012 "Best Private Companies for Leaders." The January/February edition of the magazine ranked IT Authorities as No. 7 among companies worldwide who continuously strive to make leadership development a high priority.
"We are honored to be recognized for what we call our leadership garden of personal and professional development by a major magazine such as Chief Executive Magazine", said Jason Caras, co-CEO of IT Authorities.
A study of over 1,000 public and private companies was conducted by Chally Group Worldwide. The companies were evaluated based on commitment level of the CEO, measured by the time and quality spent in involvement in the leadership process and development program within the company. Also taken into account was an evaluation of the depth of the leadership funnel within the company, measured by the percentage of internal candidates that move up to fill management positions. Other factors that determined those honored included a company's reputation among its peers, as well as the CEO's overall personal involvement in their company's internal processes.
The study found that CEOs of private companies are able to have a stronger focus on the development of others as well as themselves when compared to larger public companies.
"I think our co-CEO, Jason Caras, is the ideal example of leadership with his passion for personal development and leadership skills for everyone in the organization," said Matt Dawson, CFO of IT Authorities.
The culture and company creed at IT Authorities expresses how vital leadership and employee development is regardless of position in the organization, says Jason Pollner, co-CEO of IT Authorities. The organization believes in continuous improvement standing by their philosophy for employees to work harder on themselves then they do their job.
"IT Authorities fosters growth and the continuous learning of its employees," said Jason Pollner. "We do this through mentorship, coaching and online learning management systems, which provides the necessary tools for our employees to grow and prosper."
