Ista Hyderabad appoints Chef Gautam Chaudhry as the Executive Chef
Ista Hyderabad the flag ship five-star business hotel promoted by New Delhi-based IHHR Hospitality Pvt Ltd announced the appointment of Chef Gautam Chaudhry as their new Executive Chef at the hotel. In his role, he will oversee the culinary operations at Ista Hyderabad.
- Iowa City, IA (1888PressRelease) February 16, 2011 - Chef Gautam started his career in the hospitality industry with 'Radisson hotels' and soon was absorbed by the parent company 'Radisson Hotels Worldwide' where he was exposed to all operational departments and supervised functioning of kitchen with high efficiency. He then moved to 'The Oberoi', New Delhi as a "Sous Chef", Indian Cuisine. Following this Chef Gautam then moved to Beverly Hills, USA as an Executive Chef for "Tanzore Restaurant" and was instrumental in conceptualizing and managing the restaurant while reshaping it as one of the best Indian Restaurants in the country. Tanzore became widely known and was recognized by 'Michelin' for its innovativeness and flavors of the food. Within two years Gautam had established himself as one of United States most critically acclaimed chefs and received numerous other awards and accolades.
He then relocated to Radisson Hotel, Pune as an Executive Chef where he was responsible for setting up the hotel kitchen and managing the all round operations. Prior to joining Ista Hyderabad as the Executive Chef, he worked as the Corporate Chef, Indian Cuisine at IHHR Hospitality Pvt. Ltd and was posted at its Bangalore property, where he added another feather to his cap, and launched 'The Pink Poppadam' an innovative Indian restaurant. He has been instrumental in reshaping the perception of Indian cuisine with his boldly flavored, contemporary cooking.
Chef Gautam has many laurels to his credit; from representing "Radisson Hotel Delhi" in an Indian food promotion at "Mandarin Oriental Hotel Du Rhone, Geneva" to delighting the guests with "Indian Cuisine" in an Asian food promotion at "Hotel Principe de Savoia, Italy". Chef Gautam has excelled in various facets of kitchen operations with his innovative approach towards developing new dishes and taking the Indian cuisine to the next level.
