Israeli Tactical Shooting Training Course by Caliber 3 USA in Connecticut, 21-25 February
The upcoming courses in Connecticut will bring the worldwide renowned tactical shooting techniques developed by top Israeli counter-terror units.
- (1888PressRelease) February 17, 2016 - Southington, Ct - Caliber 3, the premier Counter Terror & Security training academy in Israel has established an international presence over the past two years. Caliber 3 has already provided training classes in the US this past year and is now officially launching the training class programs offering classes for law enforcement, military, security organizations and civilians.
The courses will be delivered by Col. Sharon Gat and Eitan Cohen, two active reservists of the IDF who are flying in to teach at this exclusive event. As per Col. Sharon Gat comments "we are very proud of teaching the techniques developed in my private academy in Israel. People can expect to learn top techniques from law enforcement and military".
The course is divided into two modules; level I for those who are looking for more basic training and level II for those who may already have experience in the Israeli method of training. Among what they will be teaching will be the Israeli point-and-shoot method, instinctive and selective shooting, weapon malfunctions and jams, multiple shooting positions, prioritization of targets, crowd-crossing techniques, shooting from cover, urban cover work, shooting from behind cover and much more.
Caliber 3 USA has become a major shareholder of the King 33 training facility in Southington, Ct. where the classes are taking place. Caliber 3 is planning to upgrade and transform the academy into the top counter-terror and security academy in the East Coast by combining the experience of Israeli techniques with American army techniques.
The course costs $500 per day per person and it will run from 9am to 5pm Sunday to Thursday.
