ISC has officially changed the two words grammatically correct Rack Mount into one word Rackmount on their catalog and advertising.

According to Kevin Hunt, VP Sales & Marketing, "in the technical field, words and definitions change quickly and it is important that we move with the flow of our customers and relate to them on their terms".
Customers and visitors who go to the ISC site will now see Rackmount Powerstrips, Rackmount Keyboard Monitors and a host of other rackmount products. Hunt predicts that many if not all companies who market rackmount products will be adapting to the one word spelling in the next two years so they can stay current with search engines and customers.
