The discussion will highlight the benefits to the contract winners of adopting a Social Responsible approach when conducting business in Iraq.
It is vital, after discussions with some of the contract award winners that Corporate Social Responsibility is planned correctly from day one and this is a concern to many involved in the re-building of Iraq. When you look at parts of the world where this has not been handled correctly it can have repercussions for years to come, both to the communities and to the stake holder. Iraq Mega Projects is an event developed by the industry for the industry. Therefore two sessions will be dedicated to the full range of issues involved with planning for correct Corporate Social Responsibility, focusing on training, technology transfer, recruitment, community engagement, security, local suppliers and human resources.
