iQuarius Media Proudly Announces "I Did"
On the heels of one indie film project comes another for iQuarius Media for audio post-production. The feature, I DID by Chase Caldwell, is due out in 2012.
- (1888PressRelease) April 04, 2012 - iQuarius Media is proud to announce that audio post-production is underway for a feature film project, I Did, due out in 2012. iQuarius Media recently completed audio post for the recently released trailer.
The stark drama is a single day-in-the-life view into the tenuous relationship of married couple Dave (played by Marco DiGeorge) and Anna (Jennifer Christa Palmer). Their banal lives are made even more rigid by Anna's unyielding adherence to her ovulation calendar. Sex has become an invariable routine. Dave is dissatisfied and longs for an escape, creating dangerous fantasies in his mind. The doubt and suspicion that is growing in their fragile marriage culminates in a single evening in which tensions become increasingly unbearable.
Shot over nine days in Jacksonville, Florida, this is the full-length feature film directorial debut for University of Central Florida Film Production student, Chase Caldwell, who also wrote the script. Award-winning audio post-production coordinator Chris Domingo will complete the audio post.
Asked if he had a direction for the sound design, Domingo replied that he would "mirror the director's vision with audio," adding that the pre-edit versions of the project were filmed well. To complement the tension and stark feel of the dark drama, the audio tracks tend to be minimal, padded with long atmospheric stretches. The dialogue is sharply defined against sophisticated silences. Unexpectedly vivid moments seem to be a visual characteristic of the film, a quality that is reflected in the audio tracks.
Domingo and iQuarius Media expect the audio post-production work to go quickly and smoothly.
