IPL Auction 2011 To Be Held In Bangalore On January 8, 9 2011
The IPL 2011 player auction is slated to take placed on Jan 8th and 9th 2011 at Bangalore and is expecting a total of 350 players for the auction.
- (1888PressRelease) January 07, 2011 - The IPL 4 player auction is scheduled for Jan 8th and 9th 2011 in Bangalore and is expecting a total of 350 players for the auction. Each player in the auction pool must mention reserved price and the franchise owners would not be able to bid lower than what is reserved by player itself. Each Player is allowed to set reserve price between $20,000 to $400,000. The base prices of ipl players auction are as listed below.
1st Tier ($400,000): Daniel Vettori, Brendon McCullum, Ross Taylor, Adam Gilchrist, Brett Lee, Shaun Marsh, James Anderson, Kevin Pietersen, Stuart Broad, Graeme Swann, Luke Wright, Michael Yardy, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj Singh, Graeme Smith, AB de Villiers, Mahela Jayawardene, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Brian Lara, Chris Gayle.
2nd Tier ($300,000): Jacques Kallis, Muttiah Muralitharan, Zaheer Khan, Yusuf Pathan, VVS Laxman, Shaun Tait, Andrew Symonds, Angelo Mathews and Kumar Sangakkara.
3rd Tier ($200,000): Gautam Gambhir, Shakib Al Hasan, Michael Hussey, Doug Bollinger, Dirk Nannes, Eoin Morgan, Robin Uthappa, Sanath Jayasuriya and David Hussey.
