IP Attorney Lori Johnson Joins Chamberlain Hrdlicka
National law firm expands its Intellectual Property department with recruitment of veteran IP attorney.
- Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) August 27, 2014 - National law firm Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry announced today the addition of leading Intellectual Property attorney Lori Johnson as an equity shareholder in its Atlanta office. Johnson previously was a partner in the Atlanta office of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP.
Johnson will represent and assist clients with IP portfolio establishment and landscape analysis, as well as due diligence for acquisitions and new product launches, and dispute resolution in the chemical area.

A former patent examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Johnson is not only well-versed on the patent application process but also brings with her invaluable insight into the culture and procedures of the USPTO.
Johnson also possesses the technical expertise that is vital to helping idea-driven companies stay at the forefront of scientific and technological advances. After graduating from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Chemical Engineering, Johnson went on to focus her legal practice in the chemical patent arena. Today, her expertise includes consumer products, industrial chemicals, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, photochemistry, and beverage compositions.

After earning her Chemical Engineering degree in 1986, Johnson went on to earn her J.D. with honors from George Washington University Law School in 1992. A Certified Patent Valuation Analyst, Johnson also travels the United States and Europe to lecture on the development and enforcement of U.S. intellectual property rights.
From 2003 to 2009, she served as resident managing partner of Finnegan's Brussels office.
