IOREBA Extends Nomination Deadline for Inaugural Office and Industrial Brokers Awards
Deadline for Submissions Extended to May 20, 2011.
- Bergen-Passaic, NJ (1888PressRelease) May 14, 2011 - The Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association of the New York Metropolitan Area (IOREBA), is accepting nominations for its inaugural Office and Industrial Brokers Awards, announced Sean Brady, President of the association and Senior Director of Cushman & Wakefield Inc. The deadline for member nominations has been extended to May 20, 2011 at 12 p.m., and the awards will be presented at the organization's Golf & Tennis Outing on June 13, 2011 at the Essex County Country Club.
"This program is designed to honor the 'best of the best' in commercial real estate brokerage in the New York metropolitan area," said Brady. "Considerable hard work goes into the transaction process, in any real estate cycle, and we are pleased to be able to honor the industry's top professionals."
The program will honor the largest leases signed between January 1 and December 31, 2010 in four categories:
• Industrial Tenant Representation Lease
• Industrial Landlord Agency Lease
• Office Tenant Representation Lease
• Office Landlord Agency Lease
For the purposes of determining the largest leases, size will be calculated by multiplying the number of lease years (excluding free rent) by the leasable square footage. For example, a 10-year lease for 75,000 square feet would be calculated as 750,000. All nominations must be verified by tenant and landlord. To be eligible to win, the firm must have at least one IOREBA member in good standing in its office.
