Financial Advisor Ana Maria Martinetti-Katz offered her complimentary services to the underserved at Miami Financial Planning Day.
- (1888PressRelease) November 13, 2010 - Miami, Florida - As part of the Investor Solutions team's continued dedication to community service, Financial Advisor Ana Maria Martinetti-Katz participated in Miami Financial Planning Day on Saturday October 2 at the James L. Knight Center. The City of Miami and the Financial Planning Association of Miami-Dade hosted Miami Financial Planning Day in an effort to assist those without knowledge of or access to financial planning services. The event focuses on providing financial guidance to the underserved, young adults and individuals and families in need.
Miami Financial Planning Day allows these people to speak one-on-one with financial planners like Ana Maria, whose many credentials include designation as a CPA, Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) practitioner as well as having earned an MBA and Series 65. Topics that individuals discussed with the financial planners included budgeting, credit management, estate planning, financial literacy for children, insurance, investing basics, mortgages, retirement planning and tax planning.
Ana Maria has previously shown a strong commitment to community service through various charitable organizations, particularly the United Way, for whom she has conducted seminars and workshops to educate volunteers and staff of the importance of planning for retirement.
Miami Financial Planning Day is an annual event and, given the success of this year's event, the organizers look forward to another success in 2011.
