INVEA-TECH releases FlowMon solution 5.x
INVEA-TECH today officially announced the release of a new series of the network monitoring and security solution FlowMon. The FlowMon solution introduces a number of significant innovations to the entire solution in version 5.x, including a completely revised user interface and use of a new, more powerful and more reliable hardware platform.
- (1888PressRelease) September 25, 2012 - "FlowMon version 5.x brings many changes and new features into the solution to facilitate and streamline user experience, provide an even more detailed visibility into the network traffic and to enable to respond to trends and face new threats." Petr Špringl, a product manager, introduces the solution and continues: "FlowMon 5.x is already the fifth series of the solution, in which we focused mainly on modernizing the user interface and also providing new features based on customer feedback. A significant change is also moving to a new, more powerful hardware platform, which allows us to offer our users a much better and faster service in case of a hardware failure."
The main news in FlowMon 5.x are:
• New modern user interface that simplifies and streamlines the job with the solution.
• Interactive controls for faster and more effective analysis of measured data were added.
• More powerful and reliable hardware platform for FlowMon Probes and FlowMon Collectors. It also includes a new design of the appliances.
• Gold Support service for new FlowMon Probes and FlowMon Collectors newly includes NBD (Next-Business-Day) hardware warranty in case of any hardware problem.

Customers who have already had the opportunity to evaluate news in the FlowMon solution were very satisfied. The ICT manager of the South Moravian Innovation Centre, Ing.
