INVEA-TECH reinforces its position by acquiring AdvaICT
INVEA-TECH, a leader in flow monitoring, has acquired 100% of AdvaICT shares and adds the FlowMon ADS solution to its product portfolio. The latest Gartner report recognizes FlowMon ADS as one of the top solutions for network behavior analysis and automated detection of anomalies in network traffic.
- (1888PressRelease) January 10, 2013 - AdvaICT is a software company developing systems for detection of anomalies and undesirable network behavior based on permanent network traffic analysis. These systems significantly increase network security thanks to their ability to detect operational and security issues, including those undetectable by standard network security tools.
AdvaICT's flagship product FlowMon ADS was developed as a software module for INVEA-TECH's own FlowMon solution. Therefore the acquisition of AdvaICT was the next logical step in increasing the effectiveness of FlowMon development and reinforcing INVEA-TECH's market position. The acquisition allows INVEA-TECH to provide its own complete solution for network security and monitoring, protecting its users against emerging threats.
