- (1888PressRelease) March 09, 2012 - In 2012 BioProcess International will celebrate its 10th year of publication. During this decade, BPI has annually provided more than 30,000 readers with the opportunity to read, learn and implement the biopharmaceutical industry's most impactful scientific breakthroughs and process improvements. During this time, the bioprocessing industry has undergone a dramatic transformation, made incredible technological advances, and essentially re-wrote the rule book on how to develop, manufacture and deliver biotherapeutics faster, and less expensively, to a global patient base. Today's Upstream, Downstream and Manufacturing processes look completely different than they did ten years ago.
To celebrate BPI's 10-year anniversary and recognize the outstanding products, services, partnerships and people that have had the greatest positive impact on the "three pillars" of bioprocessing, BioProcess International has created the 2012 BioProcess International Awards: Honoring A Decade of BioProcess.
Four awards will be granted for each of the three pillars of bioprocessing: Upstream Processing, Downstream Processing, and Manufacturing.

* Technical Application of the Decade (end-user based)
* Collaboration of the Decade
* Thought Leader of the Decade
