- (1888PressRelease) November 16, 2012 - Designtech, a market leader in the project management and collaboration solutions headquartered in Luleå, has entered in to a partnership with a new company consortium BIMcontact located in Malmö, Sweden.
The new consortium consists of several companies with well-established selling partner companies StruSoft, Graphisoft Norway and BIM Equity in Danmark .
3000 customers
With the new partnership agreement, Designtech as an OEM supplier could reach out to around 3000 potential customers with its unique product - a project and document management solution that has been developed over a period and in many steps.
We describe the tool as "a nervous system of collaboration." It allows organizations to easily connect with different locations and enable the collboration as one unit. It can communicate with other systems via an API and provides a safer and more effective use of resources, says Svanerudh.
Growth potential
Designtech's new partner will market and sell the produt under the name BIMcontact. Svanerudh forsee the opportunity for the company to grow through its new channel partner.
"This is a great contract for us and strengthens our market position. If we could aquire ten percent of the potential customers, we will more than double our customer volume. This will result in our compay's growth and our need to recruit more qualified staff". he says.

Increased turnover
Designtech has its office at Aurorum Sceince Park in Luleå, Sweden. From 2000, Designtech has developed into one of Europe's leading providers of web-based colloboration solution for companies and organizations.
In recent years, the company has almost doubled its annual revenues and is estimated to have a turnover of SEK 11 million.
The principal owner is Polar Reindeer AB in Älvsbyn, a capital management and business development company whose investments are based on long-term, commitment and development.
