Since 1993 Birmingham Orthodontics has been providing quality, affordable orthodontic care to the people of Alabama. With locations Alabaster, Hoover, and Trussville Alabama, Birmingham Orthodontics has some big news that will benefit their patients even more. Birmingham Orthodontics is welcoming a third board-certified orthodontist to their already incredible team.
Birmingham Orthodontics welcomes Dr. Careybeth Rivers to the team. Dr. Rivers received her education at the University of Mississippi where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and received her doctorate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While working toward her doctorate, Dr. Rivers was awarded the Leon H. Schneyer award as well as Hinman Scholar Award and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. River's commitment to excellence in education makes her one of Alabama's premiere orthodontists.
In addition to her education achievements, Dr. Rivers maintains several professional affiliations including the American Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, and the AOFF Vanguard Society.
By welcoming Dr. Rivers to the team that includes Dr. Michael McCarthy and Dr. Erika Hartman, Birmingham Orthodontics is now able to better serve both our established clientele and the number of new patients coming in. With an extra hand serving our clients, Birmingham Orthodontics becomes better able to accommodate the individual schedules of our patients as well as spend that extra personal time we strive to provide each and every person that walks through our door.
An added benefit of having Dr. Rivers joining the team and being new to the Orthodontics field is her modern sensibilities. While we all strive to keep up with current trends, Dr. Rivers has been learning and working with the newest and best advances and brings that fresh perspective with her to our practice. By sharing her newly gained experience with the rest of the Birmingham Orthodontics team our patients are getting even better care than the high quality treatment they are already used to.
