Intigral elevates the Jawwy TV experience to the next level
Intigral, a leading provider of digital entertainment and sports in MENA and a subsidiary of stc group, has added several new features and accessibility options to its flagship and award-winning OTT platform Jawwy TV, alongside a multitude of exciting content titles available to be viewed and enjoyed by users during February.
- (1888PressRelease) February 17, 2021 - The enhanced features include web playout, Jawwy TV’s consumption website that enables users to enjoy watching live TV programs and on-demand content by accessing the service via web browsers. This allows for a bigger screen experience and more features that elevate Jawwy TV to a truly world-class streaming service, such as content bookmarking, video start over, rewind programs, recommendation engine, and more.
Additionally, following the huge success of the Google Cast feature which brought Jawwy TV app to bigger screens last year, and the recent release of smart TV apps for Android and Samsung, Intigral has launched Airplay support for Apple TV, which enables casting Jawwy TV straight from iOS mobile devices to Apple TV. Similarly, Intigral has partnered with Skyworth - a leading TV technology company, to launch Jawwy TV Android set-top box with 4K streaming capabilities, which will combine the unique and user-friendly functionalities of Jawwy TV Home with the content-focused Android TV layout.
Jawwy TV is also equipped with the “User profiles” capability across devices, which provides users with comfort and privacy by allowing them to create multiple profiles and share their accounts with family members. Each individual profile can have its own settings such as watchlist, favorite channels, parental controls setting and profile locking capabilities, so that users can watch their favorite movies or TV shows without worrying about someone else disturbing their experience.
These capabilities further expand the list of convenient features boasted by Jawwy TV app, including the ability to start over live TV programs, create favorites lists, enjoy up to 7 days of program rewinding capabilities, and select audio language either in English or Arabic. The service aggregates content from providers including Starzplay, Fox+, WideKhaliji, Cartoon Network/Boomerang, in addition to rewind TV for curated live TV movies and programs, autoplay for next episodes, parental controls, a program guide with sorting and filtering, a recommendation engine, trending content lists, suggestive search, channel lock, content bookmarking, subtitles in multiple languages, and more.
As for new content titles on Jawwy TV for February, Egyptian titles grab the spotlight with a selection of movies topped by the exclusive comedy movie “Jedo Nahnouh”, comedy movie “Khyal Ma'ata”, and drama movie “Al Fil Al Azra' 2”, as well as the thriller TV show “Al Qamar Akher El Donia”.
Western content is also available, including StarzPlay’s exclusive action-adventure TV show “Alex Rider” and the resumption of “Your Honor” released last December, in addition to the full seasons of the famous comedy “How I Met Your Mother” from Fox+.
